D!RTY AUD!O is staying true to his name with his new “Lifted” EP, which is chalk full of heavy bass and gritty trap. The EP includes “Bring It Back” with Mr. Collipark, “Blackout” featuring Yultron, and “Happy Hour” featuring Will Brennan.
Where’s trap music without UGK? A lot of today’s EDM fanatics couldn’t care less about the pairing of the late great Pimp C and his brother in beats Bun B… but MiM0SA does.
Armed with a harddrive stocked with sonic sketches, Tigran Mimosa set off for Houston determined to track down the remaining member of UGK, and craft what would become the lead single for Future Trill Vol 2, the successor to the original collection he introduced last year, forthcoming on his own False Idol Musik.
A nod to the Port Arthur, TX sound that gave rise to the trap music movement, this straight-ahead banger reinvigorates the old rap roots that have rusted into disrepair.
The man loves his history, and gives credit where credit is due, which is great sign not only for the album, not only for its producer, but also for the scene as a whole.
Crimes! aka Chris Escobar rolls out an explosive and diverse sampling of his signature “tropical trill” sound for his second release on MalLabel Music. Crimes! has pushed farther and farther in his own unique direction, refusing to be pigeonholed into any one vibe or style, and Midnight EP is no exception. While maintaining the heavy and melodic sounds he is known for, he adds some groovier elements into his repertoire that smash several genres together into one monstrous and impressive collection of tunes.
There’s lots to explore on this release- the spacey, vibed out talkbox bass, lush pads and tripped out vocals of ‘Feelz.’ The glammy, rubbery basslines and footwork style drums on ‘Hydraulics.’ The ethereal vocals and catchy hooks of ‘I Wanna Know,’ the experimental glitch and heady vibe of ‘Opium,’ and the driving percussion, groaning bassline, monstrous builds and heavy hitting drops of the EP’s title track, Midnight. Each track resonates with the care and detail of a producer hitting his creative stride and bringing innovative textures and experiences into his music. For those of you looking for new territory to tease a dancefloor with this summer, or for something to play in the ride during warm summer drives late at night, Midnight EP is what you’ll want blasting through the speakers.

We’re proud to release the first track off our forthcoming all-star Mass Appeal Compilation Vol. I: “Old English” ft @YoungThugWorld, @GangstaGibbs and @ASAPFerg. Produced by @Salva and @NickHook, “Old English” is nothing short of a banger, with the three emcees showcasing their trademark flows over thundering drums and fluttering synths.
Mass Appeal Compilation Vol. I will include a collection of energetic street bangers and head-bobbing vibes from artists in the Mass Appeal extended family like Pusha T, Juicy J, Pimp C, YG, Mac Miller, as well as our label’s own up-and-coming artists like Boldy James, Fashawn, Bishop Nehru and more.
The compilation is scheduled to release on September 2. Until then, grab a copy of the single on iTunes and press repeat:

California’s Thorn On A Rose and Florida resident Drbblz are from separate sides of the country, but they’re a match made in heaven. They’ve collaborated with each other numerous times, and have also brought GAWTBASS and Happy Colors into the mix on previous records. Their work together stands strong, and their latest, “Onions,” is a fun twerk tune that pays homage to phenomenal asses with original vocals from Irish emcee Delorean 88. They’re giving it away as Do Androids Dance exclusive as a thank you to all of the people that supported “Hit Em Hard,” their last collaborative tune.
